🌿 We're a small crew of glasshouse tinkerers and plant-obsessed developers who got tired of eyeballing gravel depths and guessing at charcoal ratios. PotteyMattey grew out of graph-paper sketches next to a mason jar into a full toolkit for anyone building a world behind glass.

Your terrarium data stays exactly where you planted it
PotteyMattey ("the App") is built on one simple principle: what happens in your jar stays in your jar. The App does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Every calculation, photo, journal entry, and inventory item you create lives locally on your own device. This policy explains exactly how that works.
Information We Collect.
We collect nothing. PotteyMattey does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts, or any identifying information. There is no account to create and no sign-up form to fill out. Photos of your terrarium builds, humidity notes, and vessel dimensions you enter are yours alone and never leave your device.How We Use Information.
Because no information is collected, none is used, analyzed, profiled, or sold. We do not build usage statistics, we do not track how often you open the app, and we do not know what species are in your botanical catalog. Your layer calculations and condensation logs are processed entirely on-device, for your eyes only.Data Storage.
All content — photo timelines, plant profiles, hardscape inventory, vessel volume calculations, and journal entries — is stored in local, on-device storage. Nothing is synced to a remote server or cloud database operated by us. If you delete the app, that locally stored data is removed along with it.Third-Party Services.
PotteyMattey does not integrate third-party analytics software, advertising networks, or tracking pixels. No data is shared with outside companies because no data is ever transmitted off your device in the first place.Data Security.
Since your terrarium logs and calculations never travel across a network, there is no transmission to intercept. Standard device-level protections (such as your phone's lock screen and storage encryption) safeguard the locally saved content just as they would any other app on your device.Children's Privacy.
PotteyMattey is suitable for users of all ages and fully complies with the spirit of COPPA and similar regulations, because it does not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.Your Control.
There are no accounts, passwords, or cloud profiles to manage. You control your data entirely: export your photo logs manually if you wish to back them up, and uninstalling the app permanently removes all locally stored substrate calculations, journals, and catalog entries.Changes to This Policy.
